Hands down absolute best steak and lobster I have had in my 42 years!

Enjoyed an excellent dinner in a quiet dining room. We were lucky to have a excellent server who made sure we wanted for nothing. The crabcakes were exceptional, only enough filling to hold them together, full of lump crab meat and expertly seasoned. After a day of traveling, Captain's Quarters was a real oasis at the end of the day!

I might have gone 4 stars, except for a couple of things. 1) Pre-shucked oysters never a good thing. They weren't bad, just not what you want when ordering oysters in a coastal state. 2) Mom's catfish super oily, as in inedible, and was sent back (and taken off bill, so kudos).Service was good. Interior is dated. OK location if you are staying at the inn across the street.My broiled fish was OK. Forget the type.The best thing about this place might be the bar.

Food and atmosphere was wonderful! As you can see not much food was left. 😆 That white chocolate blueberry cheesecake delectable! Touch my body delicious...

Great stop off for dinner if you are traveling I-95. A local favorite!

Service was friendly and attentive, and I like the decor; reminds me of the lounge in country clubs of small town, old money golf courses. The food was good, but pricey for what you get and for the area. Salad menu could definitely use some creativity; it was good, but I spent $25 after tax and tip for a cobb salad with a small chicken breast filet. My server was the best part of the experience.

This place has great food and service. The staff was great. I will definitely be going back.

Not tok bad for a spot that's not really in Charleston. The service was decent but not outstanding. I'd say the food was good but rather on the priced side relatively. I got Snowshoe crab legs, seafood bisque and enjoyed it all.

The food is fine, if not spectacular, definately good for the area. A bit pricey, but that is the norm nowadays.Odd though, they dont take reservations for less than 10, and explained on the phone that they would not put two tables together for our party of five. Fortunately, it wasnt busy, and we were seated at one of their larger tables.

celebrated a friend's birthday last night. Our server, David, was wonderful, professional and engaging. He made our evening most enjoyable. The food was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant!!!!!

The food and service by Zack were excellent. However the hostess denied that there was a web site after us telling her that's how we found the restaurant. We had to show her in front of her fellow employees. Maybe it was a prank on out of towners, which seems to be their customer base.The owners should have better informed staff.

Pleasant surprise! Hubby and I were on our way back from our honeymoon in Florida and stopped off for dinner. Food was so good, service was great, and prices were reasonable. So happy to have found such a place relatively close to our home. Will definitely be going back soon!

This was actually a good experience. Seafood done right, good sides, and a short walk to the hotel so we could have a drink or two and not worry about driving. Didn't try the dessert, but the food was very good, and the wife loved her crab cake. Highly recommend the place.

Wonderful food, steak and lobster were spot on!!! Amazing service!! Our waiter Mark was phenomenal!!!! Definitely will come back next time we are in town!!!

Unfortunately did not eat here. I was so excited to try this restaurant. I found a seat in the bar area. 4 different waitstaff passed by me several times. No mention that they would be right with me. Waited over 20 minutes. The people next to me ordered drinks, got drinks, ordered food, got silverware, and plates in the time while I sat there. Very frustrating

If you like chicken this Is not the place for you but if you like seafood i highly recommend it amazing selection

Always enjoy coming here for dinner when we visit South Carolina. The food is always delicious and the staff is very attentive and nice . We will be back on our next trip !

Nice location near local and chain hotels. Atmosphere was dated, food was pleasant but presentation was a little lacking. Beef dish had good flavor and was cooked well but a bit chewy. Nice, but average restaurant for the money.

Delicious! Great meal after a long day's drive. Clean restaurant, just busy enough to be inviting without overwhelming noise. Attentive staff. Lots of menu choices and wonderful food. Always visit here when we're driving through the area!

Passing through Santee for a night, probably the best choice for food in the area. Priced well, very good food, truly kind service.

I went there with husband and some friends. For my birthday.. Had there Prime rib. It was cooked to order. And they did not disappoint me for sure. Then they brought a huge slice of cocanut cake delicious! Thanks for making our experience delightful.. Will Highly recommend...

We were travelling through with little kids and called in and even pre-ordered over the phone. When we arrived we sat down and had our food within a few minutes. Delicious food and kind service.

Me and the wife ate here last night almost at closing. Thinking it was so close to being closed we figured we'd get the scraps or the kitchen wanting to close! NOT EVEN CLOSE!!!! some of the best food we ever have eaten! Frog legs are INCREDIBLE, prime rib is INCREDIBLE, and the lobster was hands Dow, AWESOME

You know the place has great food and service if it's the place the locals go! Excellent food and a very pleasant staff. Both equal a great dining experience.

Kind of quaint and old-fashioned, but in a good way, Good, pretty fast service and quiet, so it was easy to talk. The crab cakes were quite good, almost as good as a good Maryland crab cake. Reasonable prices.

Great place to stay. I would recommend it and will definitely be going back. The staff is great also.

The service was above average. The waitress was very knowledgeable and attentive. However the menu listed jumbo shrimp and they were one size above popcorn shrimp.

Food was excellent. Atmosphere was blasé. Prices were steep, but on par with other seafood places.

Nice surprise in little santee! Really great food! Ahi tuna was fabulous! Caesar salad good and drinks were well made! Incredible wedge salad. Pineapple mango cake phenomenal! Service was fast and friendly and fun. Zach was great and well known by customers, obviously a favorite. You could tell there were many repeat customers and met a couple who stop by on their way from Florida to Maryland every time. Would not hesitate to go back. Southern plantation feeling, golf club decor . Went back second night in a row!

My husband and I enjoyed this lovely restaurant! The service was awesome, our waitress ensured our food was served in a timely matter and our glasses never went empty. The food was delicious and portions were just right! Definitely look forward to visiting again in the future!

Tonight my husband and I, his nephew, and two of our friends tried this restaurant. It was our first time as well and we always wanted to eat here. The food was very delicious, it was pricey. I ordered the lasagna and it hit the spot. Onto the service, our server didn’t do well. She was super slow about refilling our drinks (My empty glass sat on the table for I don’t know how long and it was still empty after my husband and his nephew received a refill of their beverage). I finally had to ask for a refill and she acted like it’d kill her. I didn’t tip, she was rude towards me and as mentioned, service basically sucked. I know what servers go through, I respect them for the job they do. However ignoring a paying customer isn’t the way to get business.

Had grilled salmon, was great, split takeout dinner with my wife, they gave us etra sweet potato and salad. First class, will go back soon.

tasted the creamy grits and I just had to get my own. Frog legs and the Catfish were awesome. Good/quick quality service and clean. Definitely going to head back here again.
